Privacy Policy
Social Reminder lets you send reminders to people you know, in your own voice, and check in when they are done. This page says what we keep, who else handles it, and how to remove it. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
What we keep
- Your account: the name, email and photo from your Google sign-in, your time zone and your settings.
- Reminders: their text, notes, times and repeats, who sent them to whom, and each day's result.
- Check-ins: the photo or voice note you send as proof.
- Voices: the samples you record, your spoken consent, and the cloned voice made from them.
- The Assistant: your chat with it (deleted after 30 days) and the facts you ask it to remember.
- Your usual choices: counts of what you pick, so the app can suggest it next time. You can turn this off in Profile → Privacy & data.
- People: your connections, blocks and reports. If you look for friends in your contacts, their emails are matched and not stored.
- Your phone: its push token, so reminders can reach it.
- How you use the app: which screens you open and which buttons you tap, so we can improve it. Never what you type.
Who else handles it
| Service | What it gets | Where |
|---|---|---|
| DeepSeek | Reminder text and notes, the Assistant chat, and check-in photos, so the AI can understand and check them. Only after you agree on the AI screen. | China |
| TypeSafe | Reminder text, to sort it (for example, how important it is). Only after you agree on the AI screen. | Outside India, per its own policy |
| Inworld | Your voice samples, to clone your voice, and the lines it speaks. Only after your own voice consent. | United States |
| Fish Audio | The same as Inworld, when it makes the voice. Only after your own voice consent. | Outside India, per its own policy |
| Nhost | Sign-in, and stored files: photos, voice notes and samples. | India |
| Neon | The database with everything listed above. | Singapore |
| Railway | Runs our server; requests pass through it. | Singapore |
| Expo, Google | Push notifications: the reminder's title and sender. | United States |
Each service works under its own terms. The AI and voice services may keep copies for a time under their own rules; when you delete a voice or your account we ask them to delete theirs.
Who can see what
A reminder is seen by its sender and its receiver. Check-in proof is seen by the person who sent the reminder. Your cloned voice speaks only reminders you send. Nobody else in the app can see your reminders.
The developer can see your data, including reminders, chats, proof photos and voice recordings, to fix and improve the app.
Your choices
- A copy of your data: Profile → Privacy & data → Download my data. Photos and voice notes aren't in that file; email us for them.
- Delete your account: Profile → Privacy & data → Delete account. We delete your account, reminders, proofs and voices, and ask the voice services to delete their copies.
- Without AI: choose "Use without AI" (Profile → Privacy & data → AI features) and nothing is sent to DeepSeek or TypeSafe.
- Delete your voice: Profile → Privacy & data → Delete my voice, at any time.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it or your account, except the Assistant chat (30 days), app usage events (180 days) and short-lived logs.
Age
Social Reminder is for people 18 or older.
